Yes, Christianity, the man-made organized power structure that it is had the uniqueness to claim to speak on behalf of God to bring in mercy, service to the poor and sojourners, along with long suffering.

However, it has a long history of nationalism, colonialism, entitlement, white supremacy, slavery, Fascism, misogyny, child labor, abuse, and war, etc.

Christians feel entitled to special privileges in America and cry persecution when they don't get them. For all of its loud talk about kind values that has not been the history of the church.

The sooner our government removes tax exempt status as it should, and starts treating organized Christianity like the businesss grift it is, the better off things will be in America. I am so happy after years of study in that faith to be rid of the organized part of it.
