I’m very skeptical of my own beliefs, and I do that on purpose. I read books on how to not trust myself. I double check things often (though not always), follow chains of reasoning to see if they lead to absurd conclusions, test the fabric of reality to see if my understanding meshes with the weave. Russia just keeps amazing me.
