Words should stand on their own and the race, gender, etc should not matter if they are backed up by facts. If a white person or other than white person can put things into words on a subject that moves people to change become better, you telling them to shut up smacks of the pulpit.

Empathetic humans can and do grow beyond their beginnings into something better and more influential. The NAACP was partially founded by certain white people both men and women.

Had those white people taken your advice, it is possible this organization may never have gotten off the ground. Speaking about these subjects is not the issue, but how you address them.
