Where I live cops start out under 40K a year. I guess you are one of those Republicans who will call this a living wage? Who said anything about Democrats? We are discussing the problem with police. It is not a Democrat vs Republican thing, but an age old problem of the spirit of police in America. A spirit that does not serve Americans but sees them as the enemy. Cops are the long arm of the law, not servants to Americans. I support good cops but the system is not good.
