Those in poverty and the homeless are brutalized to instill fear in the proles. Marx had Capitalism's number. It is why greedy Capitalist despise him so much. The problem is some of the same people who claim to speak on behalf of the poor in activist groups, etc are really Capitalist themselves. We are so much on the same page I could have written this.
