This is one of the most interesting stories I have read on Medium. My heart is broken for this person, and looking at the photos (as a professional photographer) you can clearly see a person in prison of the society and times she grew up in. She would have thrived today with all of the opportunities to express herself. An entirely different perspective, beautifully written. Thank you for doing this article.
