I cannot draw a parallel to German aggression in the 1930s. There was also Russian communist aggression during this period. War was bound to happen based off the end result of WWI. Hitler went through the Allies in his first attack in a matter of weeks. The fact that the allies were able to outlast the Nazi had as much to do with luck and Hitler's blunders as anything.

As far as the right thing to do. This is always subjective. I have seen the suffering of Americans economically caused by the powers that be. I cannot support any more foreign entanglements of this sort until our leaders start dealing with these issues.
