There are already huge double standards when roles are reversed. I have mentioned it before but I read one author here who calls herself a feminist then says the only number she is concerned with when dating is the age of consent and she is past middle age.

While there is more to it than just age or gender, a fully grown person pushing or past middle age fooling around with teens or early twenties has always had a predatory element to it whether it is Legal or not.

I think Kate Beckensale is as predatory as any middle aged man doing the same thing with a 23 year old. There is more than consent and legality to it. It also has to do with who has the power. Who knows the damage a relationship like that could do to someone whose brain is still not fully formed?
