Respectfully, the last sentence is a general statement. Not all white people grew up in a white supremacist culture or are racist. I seriously doubt you know what percentage are. People are people. The human species sucks on the whole and this includes some percentage of every race throughout history if you look at the track record.

I am not offended by the sentence as no writing offends me, but pointing out this sort of sentence is not helpful to the overall cause of tearing down hate. Taking each human as they are without prescreening them as something based on their race is was it should be the goal. In no way does this mean going light on racist for racist statements such as the micro-aggressions you point out. I have some of your other articles and enjoyed them.

However, this sort of statement says white people are the enemy and Progressives are going to need a lot of white people for any real lasting change. This type of sentence seems to appeal to malcontents or self loathing white people. It is a similar bogus statement as saying the love of money is inherent to all Jewish folk, like gravity.

I never let white people off the hook for the general racism of America or in person, but I'm not buying it being inherent in the white race. If you do, what separates your belief system from theirs? Your article would be better without this sentence in my opinion. You are a good writer, but have some disagreement about the sentence.

Caste is the ultimate culprit and all caste systems are evil. White supremacy, and whiteness are just another forms of it.
