Punk was never about music. It was about the message. Once the skunk Capitalist got a hold of it, they turned it into the same old shit classic rock became and gave us bands like Green Day as punk. I think if Patti removed it, it was a good choice. Time for America to grow up and move on from that vile word. I preferred post punk to punk, but good punk gets your attention.
