Some of the bad guys with guns wear badges and get away with murder every year. Last year they killed around 1,100 people and it has been running around a thousand every year for a while. This is more than mass shootings. Cops shoot people’s dogs even more. I am a Progressive, but I have never understood the concept that military and police are somehow better able to own firearms than the general public. Most citizens do not murder people. Quite a few cops do.
