Respectfully,

Christianity is fine with slavery, and servitude. In fact, the basis of being a Christian is to be a slave.

There is nothing in the organized religion of Christianity that founded anything on the basis of real liberty or real equality. America was founded literally on caste and slavery, and if that version of Christianity is what it was created by, it proves my point.

As for the ridiculous notion you should believe in God to defend universal human rights; humans have found ways to coexist prior to Christianity. Basic survival and growth would necessitate this. Most of the so-called founders were not Christians as we would recognize Christianity today either.

My old church damn sure would not consider 90% of Americans Christian. I am not an atheist, but the day organized Christianity dies will be a good day for America. It is one of the largest grifts in the world and is lead by numerous false prophets who push war, politics, and filthy lucre.

The fruit of Christianity in the West has been empire, imperialism, war, slavery, abuse, misogyny, homophobia, caste, royalty, and foaming at the mouth petty political agendas, etc.

If you want to return to the words and ways of Jesus, leave your ridiculous churches. Jesus stated to those who believe in churchanity "depart from me, I never knew you." Jesus was not an American, or a Capitalist and he did not pass out Bibles when he ascended.

Feed the poor, cloth the naked, be a good witness by serving humans without judgement, be merciful, speak out against war, do not seek wealth, and vote for policies that help do the same. Short of this, none should take what you claim to believe seriously.
