Paine is one of the only and few founder that matter. I was born on Bastille Day and believe in the right to rid ourselves of tyrants. Unfortunately the tribunals of the Reign of Terror were equal to the tyrants they replaced. My love of Paine is is stance on abolition and religion as much as on the rights of man. Great article.
