No one on either side, save a minority of people on the real Progressive left (which is not in our government), actually gives a shit because they are beat down by capitalism and do not feel that it would:

1. Be appreciated by those they stand up for

2. Do any good.

I live in Florida and I can tell you that there are people care, but the cost vs reward reality at the moment is not there. Most cannot afford to lose their jobs and the Q crowd, like the cancel crowd will fire anyone who appears to support what they hate. People are attacked for minor gaffes.

Folks can spin all of this any way they want, but the reality is America literally hates each other as they did prior to the Civil War. They called that conflict an irrepressible conflict. We are there now. Short of a huge surge in the economy, I do not see how a major upheaval can be avoided. Neo-Feudalism is potentially right around the corner with the help of both parties.
