No, if you believe the Bible God allows for governments and is not partial to any particular type of government. He expects his followers to abide by the rules laid about by such governments as if they were abiding to him.
If you believe in Jesus, he did what he did as an example for how his followers should live and has nothing to do with government. What could be a better example than setting up a government of the people to do as he did? What could be a more Jesus like vote than on National Healthcare.
"Romans 13:1-2 says: "Obey the government, for God is the One who has put it there. There is no government anywhere that God has not placed in power. So those who refuse to obey the law of the land are refusing to obey God, and punishment will follow."
Sorry for government haters who want to use Jesus and the Bible as a way to say government is evil. Jesus would likely use a whip and Titus 1:11 on the officer of CHM, most pastors, and church leaders.
Government in America is only as good or bad as the Americans that serve in it. In a Capitalist society built upon slavery, and abuse of workers, you can never depend on personal charity to help people with healthy. The need is too great.
