I have reread your entire article and I owe you an apology. I can see why you would be angered by my response given the context of your article.

I did not intend to cherry pick a sentence to get a gotcha moment to make a point against Jewish people. I can see how you took it that way given the subject you were writing about.

I did clearly say "I won't defend terrorist of any type or the needless slaughter of innocence" and I consider rape, beheading, and tortures acts of terror. There is no sane justification for such evil acts regardless of who does them or who the victims of such heinous acts are. I am against any form of rape or abuse of women. Period.

I am an advocate for peace and most of my writing is for the vulnerable. Few groups in history have been more vulnerable than women, so I would never purposely hint there would be any justification for any such an act. If I make a public screw up, I believe in making a public apology.

I have read some of your other articles and I have both agreements on many points and some disagreements as well, but I hope you will accept my apology on this response. My father was a history scholar and he would slap my hand with a ruler on my response to this given the context.

I have travelled surfing and enjoy friends from many races, sexual orientations, genders, and cultures, so any covert hate or indifference you thought you may have uncovered does not exist in my heart.

I will still comment on your stories if you do not mind. I usually only comment on a story if I find the writer interesting. One reason I rarely comment on pro tRump stories. ;)

On your historical timeline. I will have to comment on that separately. Given the fact that I was out of context in my initial response, I do not believe it is fitting to respond that in this response if you don't mind.
