In truth the Republican Party died in 1965 when the segregationist and racists jumped into it because of the Civil Rights Act of 1964. It has just taken close to sixty years for them to implode in the cult in the back pocket of corporate America, racism, and the war machine they have always been.

The more concerning thing is the Democratic Party under Biden, who I voted for, giving over to the military industrial complex and having us on the verge of nuclear war over something that really should not be our concern. He has become an authoritarian and is serving the interest of corporate America like a Republican. It is bizarre and concerning to say the least.

My vote is going to Cornell West and I will never buy into my DNC scare tactics again. As for the end of the Republicans. I will not miss them. Great article as usual.
