I would be nice if people would quit saying this. It took another hundred years for civil rights to become law and there are still issues. That war was between two white supremacist upper crust over which form of slavery would rule America. The North was far from the moral side. No doubt about Southern white supremacy or rebellion either. I still enjoyed the article, especially your Fifth point.
