I read your article and figure the above quote is the point you really wanted to make rather than all the other stuff in between.

Respectfully, there are some things worse than another GOP victory which will just hasten our troubles. What is worse is a Democratic Party that shows little discernible difference between the GOP Fascists when it comes to feeding the wealthy, and the war machine in any way but rhetoric. Who gives hope, but continues to disappoint when we gain power.

We are closer to WWIII than during the Cold War, and many of us real Progressives who vote are growing tired of seeing the Democrats pander to the wealthy for personal gain rather than dealing with issues that are important to us.

Mr. Reich speaks to many of these issues. Inflation is real. It happened our our Democratic watch. Why run from the issue because speaking about it may help the GOP? Personally, I do not see where speaking to truth helps the GOP. I am open to your view on this, but as a Progressive I feel frustrated with what I see from our party.
