I own businesses, I grew up in the corporate world. It is not pessimism you detect, I am mostly an anti-capitalist as American Capitalism goes. It is bad for the vulnerable, and in my view corporate greed has us on the verge of WWIII when us and the world should be celebrating good times.

Most CEOs, and executives do not tell the truth to their employees, and most could not care less about their well being and are continually trying to find ways to replace them or get more work in the way of longer hours, less family time, etc. If you are past a certain age, most corporations are looking to get rid of you, and it is much more difficult to get hired by them after age 50 unless you have a special skill.

There are exceptions, but all we need to do is look at the get back to the office campaign targeting working folk to see where most of them stand. I appreciate your post, I can disagree on some points while agreeing on others. There is no malicious intent on my part either. I will continue to read your articles.

Thank you again for your comments. I followed you.
