I have been married for almost 34 years and it still feels like dating. We still have sex most every day. No lavish ring, no lavish proposal, and we got married on a boat off the coast of Hawaii with no friends or family present. In my view, the gestures of opulence are a good sign that the marriage will not last because if the opulence goes, so will the marriage.
