I am so glad you wrote about this after reading some other authors on Medium who claim to be feminist support huge age gaps as long as they are of the age of consent. As you rightfully point out, kids between before age 25 do not have fully developed brains.

This makes the Leo DiCaprios and Kate Beckensales and those like them predatory. I have always thought large age gaps were predatory in nature when dealing with kids under age 25. Even if the young people know right from wrong, they are more easily manipulated by more independent, and life experienced middle agers.

I would not call it pedophilia because pedophiles are attracted to undeveloped children, not fully developed men and women, but it does not have to be pedophilia to be predatory. Great article as usual, Ossiana.
