He was not a gifted communicator in my view, he is very much like Trump who is not intelligent either. Both of them have a instinct for the grift and they are shameless. Being shameless and bold will win you a certain following because most people want to belong to something, are insecure, and live vicariously through these false prophets faux bravery. I am not surprised this grifter has jumped on the Trump train. He is likely looking for another way to fleece his followers.
