Great response HUMAN (R) EVOLUTION.

Good observation. Your comment does raise the question. How much difference is there between a sex worker on the street hoping to gain a high paying Johns, and women seeking to date or marry someone by trading her looks and sex for a lifestyle of wealth?

Seems to me both are attempting to earn money by sexual favors. I do not say that with any condemnation to women on the street doing sex work, but it is funny how society sees a difference.

It does seem to perpetuate more sexism and patriarchy. It also seems a bit narcissistic since it is mostly only attractive women by society's standards who can pull this off which also lends itself to objectification of women as only objects. I guess the other questions that comes to mind is, define wealthy?

There were some other good points about self worth in the article, but it seems to be putting all of that into have a price tag on it rather than a companion worthy of you.
