Great article. As a Feminist once said, the goal should not be masculinity or femininity but fraternity. I read many articles here on Medium by women claiming to be feminists, but the fact is, some are just haters. They hate men, feel justified in their hatred and will rationalize their hatred as logical and needed rather than corrosive. It is the same for many civil rights groups, and mens advocate groups, etc.

True masculinity is powerful, but also filled with empathy and love. The problem is not masculinity, but how American masculinity has been falsely created to be entitled, and violent. The American Christian church shares some blame with its abuses, and pushing misogynistic beliefs. When the results of that false masculinity have finally started unraveling, it leaves a void for some.

Unfortunately, our society today teaches extremes. It no longer respects even mild disagreement. You must be all in, or you are all out. This is not civilization, but destruction. You cannot govern, lead, or have real change without compromise in some areas. Without understanding, empathy, and a greater love, all the agitation is bullshit.
