Great article. I have a small group of trusted people, my children, and I have been with the same spouse for 33 years and it still feels like dating. However, if push comes to shove, I could live happily on a lonely island most of the time. I do not consider the ability to be comfortable alone and self suffecient as a failure. Our types tend to succeed more often because our lives do not revolve around the opinions of others, and we do not tend to give up.
