Like all Capitalist, Jefferson's statement about slavery being like having a wolf by the ear clearly showed his own interest and those of his own cast was is chief concern. Not humanity and certainly not caring about his slaves.

I will give him credit where it is do with regard to certain beliefs in a general sense, but the bottom line is he was a slaver and one of the fathers of modern day slave owner mindset predatory Capitalism. Fuck slave owners and Capitalist.
