-Chris Hedges

Americans need to quit speaking about civilian casualties in war as if they are unintended rather than the planned tactic of war mongering psychopaths. The purpose of military conflicts is to destroy those they have labeled the enemy, impose their will, and destroy their ability to continue fighting. The tactics have always included civilian deaths and always will. Those taking part in it or promoting it do not regret it and in truth, actually hope to increase the deaths of children to instigate more support from their voting population.

Why Are Some Deaths Considered Worse Than Others

The death of babies is not worse than the needless death of anyone else. Death from beheading is the same death as being blown to bits by rockets, or shot in the head by a rifle. I personally find some types of death more gruesome than others, but dead is dead. The needless death of a soldier is no different than the needless death of a baby. Only the propaganda machines try and convince us this is not true.
